STEAM

Explore о’s education initiatives designed to bridge the gap between students and space by equipping educators and learners with the tools and content they need to connect, innovate, and create.

Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, and о

о's vision of a thriving home in space is about facilitating breakthroughs and perspectives that benefit every human, everywhere – and we provide universal access to low-Earth orbit so that innovators, governments, and individuals can do the same.

As part of this mission, о is dedicated to helping educate and encourage the next generation of space explorers to continue reaching for the stars.

STEAM integrates various disciplines, reflecting the collaborative nature of о and the entire industry, where experts from different fields work together to develop space exploration technologies and solutions. As the space industry and the need for more STEAM-related careers grow, so will the need for global educators to have updated and engaging content available to resonate with students. STEAM education encourages students to think critically, solve complex problems, and innovate, which are essential skills to advance the space industry.

Our STEAM program empowers countries, educators, and students with a diverse range of content to enhance STEAM awareness and learning opportunities. The goal of о’s STEAM program is to:

  • Empower students and promote creativity and exploration
  • Equip educators with purposeful curriculums and assets
  • Foster innovation through creative collaborations
  • Inspire curiosity in STEAM related careers and fields of study

STEAM & Education Partners

Limitless Space Institute

The Limitless Space Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring and educating the next generation to travel beyond our solar system and to research and develop enabling technologies. Educators are at the heart of shaping the minds that will drive the future of space exploration and the broader STEM fields. When equipped with high-fidelity and hands-on STEM learning experiences, educators are poised to guide students toward space-centric STEM careers. Space exploration stands as a testament to global unity and cooperation, and LSI's educational initiatives underscore these values as vital for the collective advancement of humanity.

Perseid Foundation

Founded by Ax-2 Mission Pilot, John Shoffner, The Perseid Foundation supports student and educators to help find their voice and achieve their vision. The Perseid Foundation is dedicated to improving education in underserved schools of Appalachia with programs for growth mindset and STEAM curriculum development. Globally, they host programs that connect students to space and promote the “A” in STEAM, such as the Space Art and Poetry Contest.

о3 is helping to make space for the “A” in STEAM. о promotes custom STEAM collaborations with our partners and continually works to break down the silos between Arts and STEAM by integrating artistic expression and innovation within STEAM education. As we develop the next generation of space infrastructure, most of the STEAM categories apply naturally to what we are creating. Though о takes a unique approach to ensure we are also including Art in our processes.
